A+D MASH UP THE PARTY
David Bowie vs. MGMT & other must haves!
In the past 5 years, nothing has hit the party scene harder than the infamous “Mash-Up”. Two DJ’s widely considered originators of the art form are the California based duo Adrian and the Mysterious D, better known as A+D, most famous for their Le Tigre vs. Missy Elliott track "Decepta-Freak-On". Their style typically leans towards indie rock but works with every genre from Electro, Hip-Hop, Disco, to Classical. Globetrotting has become a regular thing for A+D, not only due to their studio work, but because of their all Mash-Up party, Bootie. Bootie started in San Francisco but has spread to LA, New York, and across the ocean to China, Paris, London, and the Netherlands. Most recently, Bootie has presented an all David Bowie Mash-Up CD titled Ziggy Stardust Remixed compiled by DJ BC.
