Lily Allen has claimed she is so broke she has been forced to sell her car to make ends meet.

The 23-year-old singer - who is currently enjoying chart and tour success with her second album It's Not Me, It's You - has sold her £35,000 BMW 320 convertible because she needed the cash.

Lily told the Daily Record: "I had to sell my car because I'm so broke. I bought it last year and that was probably my biggest extravagance. Clothes, too. I'm always buying clothes."

This is totally shocking to me but I guess London is really that expensive...
