SPIKE JONZE DIRECTS KANYE WEST

On the eve of the release of director Spike Jonze long awaited film, Where The Wild Things Are, he pulled an ace from his sleeve. A short film (or long video) debuted on Vimeo titled "We Were once A Fairytale" starring no other than Kanye West. All though the title seems like it has something to do with Wild Things, it does not. Due to the lack of artistry in pop culture, Kanye has defied the scrutiny that has plagued him since the VMA debacle by continuing to stand out as an original without fear of pushing boundaries, both audibly and visually. Spike Jonze is no slouch either when it comes to defying expectations (see Being John Malkovich and Adaptation). Check out what happens when you pair these to, dare I say, geniuses...
