THE MAIN DRAG DROP 3RD ALBUM

Boston Folk/Electronic band, or "Folk-Tronic" as I like to call it (feel free to use it), The Main Drag have been grinding it out with considerable success for the past 5 years. Their 3rd album, You Are Underwater, will be available online December 8th and see a physical release in stores early 2010. In support they have taken some interesting steps. Direction team, Ben & Julia, have helmed the video for "Dove Nets" which uses stop animation to create a psychedelic experience that would make Bjork and MGMT proud. Most bands would stop at a video...but not these guys. Fans can play a Space Invaders inspired online video game featuring the mouse from the video. Going yet one step further, producers can download stems from several songs on the album to submit remixes to the band.

Be on the look out for You Are Underwater for sale online Dec. 8th and in stores soon after. In the meantime...
