The Scissor Sisters have been a surprise success story.  You may hate them but their devoted fans are going to keep them here whether you like it or not.  On that note, get prepared for their 3rd collection of Disco Glam Dance anthems, Night Work, coming out June 29th.  For the first time, they have enlisted an outside producer to broaden their sound.  To make this happen they brought in Stuart Price, possibly the most successfull producer of vocal driven dance music, at least in the last decade.  Also known as the Thin White Duke (a moniker he borrowed from David Bowie), Price earned a major status boost when he produced Madonna's Confessions On A Dancefloor which (if you were in a cave and have no idea) spawned the mega hits "Sorry", "Jump", "Get Together", and "Hung Up".  Millions of record sales later, the Duke has been at the helm of projects for high end clients including New Order, Seal, and The Killers.  Those who've felt the Sisters past work had too much of a novelty feel can drop the cynicism once they hear the refined material the new collaboration has produced.  The lead single "Fire With Fire" is an 80's New Wave throw back bringing Human League and Erasure to mind.  You can check out the video for the track plus stream "Invisible Light" below.  Look for Night Work on sale June 29th.
