Fall
Massive 2010 womped our world and literally lit up Baltimore! From the
performers to the patrons, light shows to Electro, fur boots to fishnets,
Bourbon Street Baltimore presented us with an experience to remember. House,
Dubstep, Electro, and Drum n Bass phenomena spun their best to a spectrum of
lights. Neon strobes shot to every corner as major names like Smash Gordon,
Andy C, Wolfgang Gartner, Steve Aoki, Borgore, Tittsworth, and Nero worked their raving
fans with heart pumping, energy inducing sounds. With four areas of music, Fall
Massive 2010 really kept to its name. This large venue delivered even larger
sounds, and an over the top experience.

Dedicated music fans glowed their
way to the door along the bitter cold afternoon sidewalks of Baltimore. They
nodded along to the echo of head banging, body swaying, fist-pumping music
permeating the crisp outside air from inside. These ravers waited in great
anticipation of the 4 PM time that the sold out event would begin. Packed to
the 2,800 legal capacity, Bourbon Street had Fall Massive mania pumping from
every corner as fans danced to their favorite Djs. The beat of Borgore’s
“Love” blasted from one side of the ballroom as the Dubstep icon and his fans
spat the lyrics, “Cause I love your pretty
smile. I love your needy style. I love to be able to see that you are glamorous
from a mile.” Right next-door Wolfgang Gartner
roared from the main stage. Nero bumped next as Borgore came to a close, as
Steve Aoki took over the main area and his loyal fans bodies. Feeding the crowd
with both refreshments and himself, Aoki dove head first in to the crowd after
popping a bottle of champagne from the stage. And if crowd surfing wasn’t
enough for his fans, the rafting certainly made the night. Using an inflatable
raft, Aoki and his fans got a chance to literally surf across the Fall Massive
crowd. From floor to floor, music lovers filled the venue lining
every wall, crowding both stages, dripping from the second floor banisters, and
partying on the roof. An array of the best Djs and producers in House and Dubstep, state of the art sound and lights, and high-tech cryogenics created the
music experience of a lifetime. That is what it was
really about; that one of a kind Fall Massive experience that certainly is like
no other. And if you didn’t get enough in the first ten hours, there was After
Mass.
