As with all Electronic music, Europe (especially the UK) tends to champion all up-and-coming artists bound for night club glory.  Sadly, US artists must seek approval from International media sources before their own country will show them any love.  This is now the case for underground hero, Drop The Lime, of the Trouble & Bass crew out of NY who have been destroying clubs and rave parties for better part of a decade.  He is now stepping out from behind the turntables to showcase himself as an artist.  This can be seen with full effect in his latest video "Hot As Hell", a track that is one part Dance and two parts Rockabilly (imagine Elvis or the Stray Cats making House music) for something completely original to the genre.  MTV UK has jumped on it already and he can only hope that the US flagship station follows.

If you missed the HOT AS HELL TOUR, don't worry, he'll be on the road again solo and with Trouble & Bass.  Keep an eye out for the full length album in 2011!
